Meet Richard Roznos

Northern Nevada has always been home.

Richard Roznos comes from a family with roots in the region spanning four or five generations. His family’s history reflects many of the industries that helped build Northern Nevada, including farming, construction, and trucking. Although Richard grew up in nearby Truckee, California, Northern Nevada was a regular part of everyday life. Weekends often meant trips to Reno for shopping, restaurants, movies, skateboarding, and exploring the communities that would eventually become home.

After spending years in and around the region, Richard pursued opportunities that expanded his understanding of real estate, construction, and development. He worked with a property developer in West Palm Beach, Florida, helping oversee the development of an apartment community, and later worked as a project manager for a commercial developer in Washington State, assisting with commercial construction projects and vacant land acquisition.

While those experiences provided valuable insight into development, construction, and property evaluation, they also reinforced something Richard already knew—Northern Nevada was where he wanted to build his future.

In 2022, Richard and his family returned to the Reno area with a renewed appreciation for everything the region has to offer. Having lived in other parts of the country, he understands firsthand what draws people to Northern Nevada: the strong sense of community, access to outdoor recreation, four-season lifestyle, and the unmatched beauty of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada.

Richard’s path to real estate was also shaped by his own journey to homeownership. Like many buyers, especially those who are self-employed, he faced challenges while working toward the goal of owning a home. When he finally purchased his first home at age 35, he experienced firsthand the impact that a knowledgeable REALTOR® and lender can have on helping a family achieve that dream.

That experience inspired him to pursue a career in real estate.

Today, Richard combines his background in development, construction, land acquisition, and project management with a passion for helping others navigate one of the most important financial decisions of their lives. Whether assisting first-time buyers, families relocating to Northern Nevada, or homeowners preparing to sell, his goal is to provide honest advice, clear communication, and personalized service throughout the process.

When he’s not helping clients, Richard enjoys spending time with his family exploring Northern Nevada. Whether it’s visiting Lake Tahoe, spending time along the Truckee River, camping, gardening, metal detecting, or searching for minerals and rocks throughout the state, he continues to enjoy the lifestyle that brought his family back home.
